Una Willis-Reiki
I started my journey into Reiki in 2011. Initially I would see a Reiki practitioner for treatments and over time realised it was the path I wanted to take further. I secured my Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 over three years, becoming a Reiki Master in April 2016.
Why Reiki?
Reiki evolved from Japan and was devised by Dr Mikao Usui over 100 years ago. The tradition has a beautiful lineage and is passed on from master to student. Reiki involves placing (laying on of) hands and energy is directed to any area of the body or energy centre that needs clearing or support. Life Force Energy is conscious and will naturally flow towards where it is most needed supporting the body’s natural capacity for self-healing and balance.
Reiki is a holistic therapy and a wonderful system of healing focusing on helping progression on all 3 levels – physical, mental and spiritual. The treatment sessions are used to remedy many common health issues including:
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Specific physical symptoms such as Pain Relief
- Insomnia
- Depression
- Digestive disorders
- Strengthening the immune system
- Increased sense of wellbeing and joy
It is recommended that having regular sessions of Reiki gives you time to notice and evaluate any changes within yourself to develop a healthier, more resourceful state of being. Intially 3-5 sessions should be undertaken.
Please note, client is fully clothed during treatment so please wear comfortable clothing.
