Steroid Injections

What is it? 

This is where a corticosteroid is injected directly into painful joints or into soft tissue. This then helps to stimulate the body anti-inflammatory effect. 

Which then can help with a reduction inflammation and relive pain. This can results in increase range of movement, increase exercises ability and aid recovery.

What can it help?

• ⁠Frozen shoulder
• Rotator cuff injuries
• Planter fasciitis
• Tennis and golfer’s elbow
• Arthritis
• Knee injuries
• Bursitis
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• Inflammation

What’s the process?

You will first have to discuss this with your treating physiotherapist who will fill out the correct paperwork for the prescription for the medication.

Then you will book your session in with one of the injection therapists.
