Amit Taneja

Amit Taneja is the director of Hale Physiotherapy and wellbeing centre and also works as the Lead Physiotherapist.
He completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal and sports Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University. He has worked in both the NHS and private sector and developed a broad range of advanced treatment techniques through numerous external qualifications including acupuncture, manual therapy and biomechanical analysis all aimed at providing effective diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of conditions. He is a member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and also the private practitioners association Physio First. In addition, he also works closely with a number of sports persons and corporate clients.

Amit has extensive knowledge in sports injuries, sports rehabilitation and sports therapy, whiplash, occupational health, acupuncture, massage, arthritis, pain management and all musculoskeletal complaints.

Amit is a highly motivated individual with his work, home life and personal sport. In his spare time he tries to keep fit and participate in local running events including marathons. He has developed genuine interest in running related injuries and completed specialist courses in this specific field. He provides specialist assessment and treatment sessions for runners suffering from injuries.

Amit has a caring and gentle nature which complements his physiotherapy skills and results in his patients returning to him for all their treatments time after time. He has a passion to see all clients reach their full potential and will work with each client to achieve this goal within their capabilities. . He prides himself in treating clients with complex musculoskeletal problems that haven’t been resolved successfully elsewhere.
