Lee Spittlehouse

Sports Massage Therapist

Hi, thanks for reading my bio, I have been a police officer for 36 years, including various specialisms throughout that time. This has involved carrying a lot of equipment that has taken its toll on me physically. I have benefitted from soft tissue therapy, when required, which has corrected the aches and pains for me to continue in my role.

I have led a sporty and energetic life and it has amazed me how the body can adapt, overcome and repair itself, but sometimes needs some help. Having been a client at Hale Physio for some years it was Amit who gave me the confidence to embark on this new venture, to which I am grateful. I qualified in Sports Therapy and Massage in 2021, completing a course locally in Hertford to which I look to develop in the future.

Having sustained injuries both from work, sport and just life, I realise the impact this can have on your day-to-day routine and mental health. Understanding the benefits massage has to play and look forward to working with you. Providing a psychological feeling of relief, with therapy allowing you to perform to whatever goal you wish to attain. I value the importance of this treatment and the benefits it will bring.

I enjoy most sports, playing rugby until my mid-thirties. I still go to the gym on a regular basis for both my physical and mental well-being.  I am a fair-weather motorcyclist, enjoying trips with my wife and walking our three dogs.
