Parishudi Misir
Reflexologist and Masseuse
- Diploma in Reflexology

My journey into complementary therapies began in 2007 when I completed a Diploma in Reflexology. I had long been keen to explore ways of assisting people to cope with the daily stresses of life and to provide a positive contribution to their wellbeing. I am a firm believer in the soothing power of touch and the benefits it can have on mind, body and spirit; this has inspired me to continue to learn and explore the world of complementary therapies to enhance the experience of my clients.
I am a registered member of the Association of Reflexologist and I am qualified in the following therapies: Maternity Reflexology, Aromaflex, Thai Yoga Massage and Indian Head, Neck and Shoulder Massage.
Therapy descriptions
Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient art practised in Thailand from around the third century BC. It is a unique form of massage which takes place on a cushioned floor mat with the receiver wearing light, loose clothing.
Using thumbs, palms, elbows and feet, the therapist applies a combination of acupressure, gentle stretching and applied yoga which may relieve muscular tension, improve flexibility, aid relaxation and promote feelings of tranquillity and wellbeing.
Indian Head, Neck & Shoulder Massage
Based on the traditional art of Indian Head Massage from the ancient system of medicine known as Ayurveda which has been practised in India for thousands of years. Warm oil is used to massage the head, neck and shoulders to aid the release of tension, calm and relax the receiver and help promote a feeling of well-being.
Maternity Reflexology
Using reflexology techniques at different stages with the aim of optimising the health and well-being of clients through their conception and maternity journey.
